Often a notification will include a link for the recipient to view the submission. This link will show all fields within the form by default. You can customize what is visible for each notification. This article will walk you through how to hide fields for notifications.
Examples |
---|
You collect the SSN or other sensitive information and alert people in the Central Office who need some, but not all sensitive information. Hide any fields that are not relevant to keep PPI private! You notify the submitter that their application has been received but don't want them to see any notes from the HR team. Hide the notes field, so internal notes can stay internal. |
1. Switch from "Build" to "Visibility on the left side panel.
2. Switch from "Steps" to "Notifications" on the right side panel.
3. Select the component you would like to hide.
4. Select hidden (crossed out eye icon) for all notifications you would like that component not to be seen.
Don't forget to Save!
Hiding Sections Tip |
---|
Instead of hiding each component, you can hide an entire Section. Keep all your components related to an approver in a Section and hide that Section easily. |
