How do I Disable a Form?

Modified on Thu, 19 Sep at 1:51 PM

Sometimes you only want to accept submissions during a specific window, or you might need to temporarily prevent new submissions. Disabling a form in Droplet is an easy way to stop people from submitting while keeping previous submissions intact. When you’re ready to reopen the form, it’s just as simple to enable it again.

Disabling a Form

1

Go to the Forms page.

2

Find the form you want to disable.

3

Click the three dots on the right side of the form card.

4

Select Disable.

Once the form is disabled, you’ll see “Disabled” in the lower-left corner of the form card. Disabling a form prevents new submissions but allows any existing submissions to continue moving through the workflow.

Re-enabling a Form

1

Go back to the Forms page.

2

Find the disabled form.

3

Click the three dots on the right side of the form card.

4

Select Enable.

The form card will now show “Enabled,” and users can once again submit to the form.
