What Actions can I take on a Submission?

Modified on Wed, 11 Sep at 8:59 AM

This article explains the various actions you can take on form submissions in Droplet. It covers how to access the Actions menu, what each action does, and how permissions affect which actions you can use. Understanding these options helps you manage and organize your submissions more efficiently.

When you’re working with form submissions in Droplet, you have a variety of actions available to help you manage and organize your work. Depending on the permissions assigned to your account, you may see the Actions button in the My Assignments, My Submissions, and All Submissions views.

How to Access Actions

Click on the Actions button, and then select one or more submissions. Then, you can select the Actions menu to see the options available to you.

Available Actions

Download
Save your selected submission(s) as a PDF file on your computer.
Export
Export one or more submissions from a single form to an Excel spreadsheet or CSV file.
Activity Log
View the history of a selected submission as it moves through the workflow.
Assign
Assign or reassign the selected submission(s) to another team member. The submission stays in the current workflow step.
Unassign
Remove the current assignee from the submission, stopping it from progressing further in the workflow.
Remind
Send a reminder email to the current assignee of the selected submission(s).
Archive
Mark the selected submission(s) as Archived to help you keep your forms organized.
Unarchive
Bring previously archived submission(s) back into active status.
Unreject
Move previously rejected submission(s) back into the step where they were originally rejected.

Important Note on Permissions

Your ability to take these actions depends on the permissions set by your platform administrator. If you don’t see an option in the Actions menu, it may be because your account doesn’t have permission to use that specific action. If you attempt to take an action on a submission for which you lack permissions, you’ll see a notification explaining this when you hover over the action.
