If you are expecting to see forms or submissions in your Droplet application but aren't able to find them or you can find them but can't take the expected action(s) on them, you can take the following steps:
- Log out and Log back in
- Try Clearing your Browser Cache and Cookies
- Talk to your Roles Manager
- Submit a Ticket
Log out and Log back in
With our Roles and Permissions feature, we can give and restrict permissions to forms, submissions, and much more, but when we make changes to someone's role, and they are already signed in, their permissions will not change right away. It is also possible that you are accessing Droplet through a shared email account (ie hr@school.org) as well as your own personal email account. When you are using multiple accounts to manage submissions within Droplet, be sure that you are logged in to the correct account.
So the first thing to try is to log out and then back in.
Step 1: While in the application, click on your name in the top right corner, then click logout in the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Go to https://app.droplet.io/ and sign back in.
If this doesn't provide you with the access you need, you may need to talk to the person who manages roles for your Droplet account.
Try Clearing your Browser Cache and Cookies
Stored local data in combination with your Droplet session timing out may cause errors when trying to access Droplet pages. If logging out and logging back in, to the correct account, doesn't fix the errors you are experiencing, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies using this guide.
Talk to your Roles Manager
Your account may need to be assigned a different role or the permissions may need to be adjusted for your current role so you have access to the submissions, forms, or actions you are expecting. This is likely managed by one or two people in your organization who are in charge of managing Droplet for your organization.
Submit a Ticket
If you are unsure who manages roles and permissions for your Droplet account or you are still having trouble, click that "Submit a ticket" button in the header.
